Delete your account & data
LendBook (developer: Built4U Apps, package com.lendbook.app) lets you delete your account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what is deleted.
Delete from within the app (fastest)
- Open LendBook and go to Settings.
- Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete Account.
- You will be offered the chance to export a copy of your data (as a CSV) first. Deletion is permanent, so export it if you want to keep a record.
- Confirm the deletion. Your account and all data are removed immediately.
Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email support@built4uapps.com from a way we can verify against your account, with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and the phone number registered to your LendBook account. We will verify ownership of that number and delete the account within 30 days (typically much sooner).
What gets deleted
- Your profile(s) and account settings.
- All borrowers, loans, payments, top-ups, expenses, and capital entries you recorded.
- Any documents, logos, and generated records stored for your account.
- Your authentication identity (phone-number sign-in).
Deletion is permanent and irreversible. All of the above is removed from our servers within 24 hours of confirmation.
What we retain, and why
We keep a single write-once record of which phone numbers have already used a free trial. This contains no personal or lending data — it exists only to prevent the same number from repeatedly claiming new free trials, and it cannot be used to identify or contact you. We may also retain limited records where required by law (for example, tax or payment records held by Google Play / our payment processor for completed transactions).
